Design your own children's sweater!
This page will start you on your way to charting a child's drop sleeve
sweater for you to knit by hand or machine. You can also crochet the sweater!
The sweater can be in any size, in any stitch gage, and you may use any
stitch pattern you prefer.
The sweater program assumes you will use two types of knitting stitches.
These are the "welt" and the "main" pattern stitches.
The "welt stitch" is used for the neckline and the cuffs. On my sweater
pictured at left, I used 2x2 ribbing. On Teddy's I used 1x1 ribbing. You
can use any non-curling stitch. (What's a welt?)
The "main" stitch is used everywhere else. My sweater is in a fancy pink
and pink fairisle. I just centered the pattern and knit away. Teddy's main
stitch is striped stockinet. You can get as fancy as you like. Just knit
a swatch first!

The site has been reorganized. Visit the order
form page.
Knit Fiendishly,
