Think you’re thin? You may be fat inside!
Can you believe a man with a BMI of 21.7 can be fat inside? Well, the yellow in this image illustrates fat. Notice this guy has hardly any fat on the outside but tons inside his belly? He’s fat inside. Doctors now warn that fat surrounding internal organs is likely more dangerous than fat stored elsewhere on the body. Of course generally speaking people who carry little external fat store less internal fat than those who are obviously fat outside. However, sometimes some thin people store loads of internal fat while some fat people carry all their fat on the outside. Yes, it turns out both the scale and external appearances can be deceiving.
