One Single High-Fat Meal = Stress!

Can you believe it? We all knew eating many high fat meals put people at risk of artherosclerosis and high blood pressure. Now it turns out that people who consume just one single high-fat meal are more prone to suffer the physical consequences of stress than those who eat a low-fat meal. Or so say researchers at the University of Calgary!

Even Dr Tavis Campbell, a specialist in behavioral medicine and senior author of the study was surprised by this finding saying, “What’s really shocking is that this is just one meal.”

Hmmm… I’ve read that other studies show even small weight loss results in improved health. I know even small weight loss requires cutting out all these individual fatty meals. And if even eating one fatty meal causes stress, cutting out all of them for a month has just got to do you some good!

  2. Just so long as they don’t count consuming chocolate in there, or I’m in big trouble!
