Exerise + Fish Oil = Cardiovascular Health
Exercise improves cardiovascular health. Fish oil improves cardiovascular health. Researchers have now demonstrated that doing both together improves cardiovascular health more than doing either individually. Why does this not surprise me?
The results are published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition The study included 75 overweight men and women, ages 25 to 65, who exhibited least one of the following — mild hypertension, elevated total cholesterol, and elevated plasma triacylglycerols.
Recommendation to self: attend to both diet and exercise!
Interesting results. I think getting the ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 fats higher in our diets is very important.
