Knit Tree Shirt

Seattle winters
are drizzly, dark and dreary.
Cold trees need sweaters.

Erika posted a free pattern and encourages others to take pity on the cold trees. Afraid you’ll be mocked? Erika advises:

Those of you who have been mocked for making your own tree couture, be strong. Some people just don’t get it. Pity them, for they lack whimsy, and are forever doomed to lead lives of unspeakable dullness

  2. i loooove the tree sweaters, this is now the 4th place i have seen it. just in case i had doubts about knitting one. now that it is spring, it will need to be more springy…would a tree wear a bikini? and what would it look like?

i need to get the stats on haikus. i never remember what the rules are.

  3. I’m sure a tree would wear a bikini! But construction might be difficult, how do you keep the bottoms on? You may need to make a bikiny with I cord running from the bottom to the top and criss-crossing the torso.

Or, you might just make the sweater some sort of sexy peak a boo lace dress!
