The Knitting Fiend

I can’t help wondering, will this really be a bucket hat?

It doesn’t really look like one.

Ok… I know the top is pointy because the rows shrink much more than the stitches. So, that will flatten to top. And, I know the edges will roll less after I felt it– hopefully making this a bucket. But, I’m always nervous before felting. (I’m less nervous than when Rosemary’s machine knit bucket looked like a ghost costume on teddy though.)

Still, I’m sufficiently anxious that I ran around the house and found some light weight bath mats to wash. And, I dug up some old sweat shirts. I should be able to show off the final hat, and reveal the generator tomorrow.
