Ebay has bargains,
even eye popping hand knits.
Sort of like this one.

This may be the sort of triumph of craftmaship over style some “real knitters” aspire to create. You know, instead of knitting garter stitch scaves.
At the time of posting, there was 1 bid; there are four and a half more days of bidding left. I’ve got to see what it finally goes for.

Doesn’t it sort of look like someone started out making the front and back of pillow and then thought “Oh, I’ll slap them onto a sweater?”

Oh, thank gott. I was kinda wondering, but then I thought, “well, maybe she likes it?” You know, because you’re all knit-savvy and stuff.

Most of the time, I Haiku about odd things. I admire odd toys. Odd clothes? Usually, my reaction is “who would wear that?”
Anyway, when I write “eyepopping”, that’s rarely an endorsement!

Um…um…yeah, I think “eye-popping” about says it all. Still only one bid, by the way, on Friday afternoon. AND, the shipping is more than the current bid price. Yikes.

No, there are many designs I don’t get. When it’s odd, but easy and unshaped, I at least understand the designer’s goal which is to create an easy to knit pattern. Sometimes it works out; sometimes it doesn’t, but I “get it”.
But odd, unflattering and using a difficult knitting technique? That’s just weird.
