Oh, I’d like to win any and all awards!! So I was glad to get the one from your blog.

But, about the awards I just announced, I don’t think I deserve “Best Craft Blog” overall. I’m a technical-technical-technical blog. I think many, including yours are more balanced and so better overall and so better.

I like to publicize the democratically chosen contests because the more people who know about the competition, the fairer they are. I went an nominated at least 10 blogs including a number of non-craft blogs– in a variety of categories. I didn’t even think a tremendously long time! I figure, if my readers nomimate who they like, your readers nominate who they like etc., no really good blog will be missed.

The Bloggies panel will pare the list down, so why not help them create a complete list?

Thanks Amy. Jim, who is also an engineer, selected the cables after I described the “functional design criteria” for an Aran. We are both mechanical engineers.
