The engagement sweater I knit for Jim is wearing out at the cuff. I need to figure out how to fix it! (The yarn is soft and nearly unspun. Otherwise, it would be pretty easy.)</description>

		<description>I knit a pair of socks last Christmas for my dad and he doesn&#039;t wear them at all because they are...his words...&quot;too special to wear&quot;.  He&#039;s in his 70&#039;s so I have to wonder what occasion he&#039;s waiting for.  Actually I thing it&#039;s just that not many people receive a handmade or handknit gift that they really like so when they do they are hesitant to cause any wear; it&#039;s a sweet sentiment really but I would rather that my dad showed me his big toe poking through the toe so I could knit him up another pair:)</description>
