Rhetorical question: WHY are you the only person in hours of googling this topic that is capable of giving comprehensible instructions on how to knit increasing short rows? For example, I never once saw anyone mention purling through the back loop. I finished my toe turn and the diagonal IS a little more "hole-y" than the rest of the fabric-- is this how it should look? Also-- a general comment-- I propose a universal bar against anyone using "the" as an article for the word "needle" when writing knitting instructions. (And thank you for not doing this!!) As we work with two needles (and sometimes three) it's much too vague. I happened to hit on this one set of instructions for knitting short rows that asked me to "wrap yarn around the needle" several times-- worse than meaningless, unless you already know the technique. Thank you!!
