If you wanted the sock, maybe 90% of the actual foot circumference, should the knitter just pick a slightly smaller size? There’s no negative ease in either of the sock-u-lators, right? I sort of looked at a variety of patterns. Some had negative ease and some didn't. So, I decided no ease is more straightforward. (I guess I should *say* this in the instructions though!) Also, when you are at the increasing short rows, since you slip the first stitch starting with the first purl row, you need to slip one and then purl the same number of stitches that you knit on the previous row. Small error, but might be confusing to new knitters. This one isn’t showing up as a link in pattern generators yet. I thought I was going crazy and rebooted my machine and then it worked. And then I realized I got to the sock-u-lator two different ways and they had differents urls. This is the good one - the bad one is http://www.thedietdiary.com/blog/?p=544. You get to that one from the banner at the top of the page. No matter what I entered it wouldn't calculate.
