I’m so tempted to bind off!

I always get antsy when I’m near the end. I want to be done, done, done! It’s only 3 1/2″ long, and it really need to be at least 5″; 7″ would be better. Some of the fold-over turtlenecks in my pattern books are 9″ long!

I saw a stand up collar that was 3 1/2″ tall. If this were for me, I might go for that; it might be “interesting and different.” But this is for Jim. He’s in Annapolis right now, so I can’t ask him if an “interesting and different” collar would be ok.

But, you know. . .

I’ve been married to the guy over 20 years now, and I know a stand up collar in place of a turtleneck is not the sort of “interesting and different” he wants in a sweater.

So, around, and around and around I will go!
