The Knitting Fiend

This hat is looks similar to the one I showed yesterday. I wrote this generator because some people will want their jester hats knit from the bottom up rather than sideways using short rows. Knitting bottom up permits you to knit stripes that go around your head instead of up and down. You can also decorate the hat with with bands of garter stitch, or add snow flakes.

Directions are provided in both “machine knit” (MK) and “hand knit” lingo. So, knit whichever way you want.

I knit mine by machine from “stash” yarn. Some sort of purple acrylic. (Stash yarn is one of the main reasons a person needs generators to create these in any gauge!)
