Shoulder Strips Knitted
Posted on 08.20.05 by lucia @ 6:47 am

I showed off these shoulder strips when I met all the knitters at Barnes and Noble’s on Thursday night.

Admittedly, there weren’t anywhere near as impressive as everyone else’s finished objects! But, there you go!

Anyway, I was a newbie attendee, so I probably got everyone’s names wrong. Gail, of Knitter Gail was working on a Corset tank. I’m under the impression she bought the yarn last weekend, and is almost finished. Talk about speedy!

Meanwhile, I was trying to diagram charts for Jim’s sweater. I gabbed and looked at all the yarn the others bought at Stitches. I have to admit, I didn’t get much charting done. I did absolutely no knitting.

Still, I was a little productive. I picked up stitches along the edges of the epaulets and began knitting the sweater back tonight, but the amount beyond the epaulets is so pathetic, I’m saving that picture for tomorrow.
