I have been working on the endless scarf afghan, which explains why my knitting as knitting reports are so few and far between. But, it’s going along quite well. I’m actually going to seam the thing together tomorrow! (Not that I need an afghan on the hottest day Chicago has ever seen. )
Meanwhile, I added the aggregator for knitting blogs that often feature cats. To get this going quickly, I picked the knit blogs of those entered the contest, but I also added “squirrels world’s” who shows neat cat oriented stuff. (You should definitely take a look at her knitted kitty. If people let me know about other “cats & knitting” type blogs, I’ll be happy to add them.
Now, if you want to conveniently find the latest entries for knitting blogs that discuss cats, visit knitting and cats.
I also plan to add other groupings — spinning, weaving, dogs etc. Once I have several of these “knit blog & other topic” aggregators going, I’ll figure out how to organize things so new visitors to the site can find the aggregator they like.
