Greetings from Walla Walla, WA! (a short drive from your old stomping grounds in Richland)

I'm really enjoying reading your blog. It's refreshingly different than pretty much everything out there. Keep up the good work!

Actually, I'm a mechanical engineer -- and specialized in fluid mechanics.

We recently adopted "Blackie". His owners moved and just left him behind!

My politics aren't a secret. It's just that I find, when you are sitting there knitting, you might suddenly start focusing on a political discussion. Think of what getting into a political argument in your head could do to your tension? Your sweaters might end up bullet proof!

you did good! now I know why I adore you, you are a knitter AND a scientist, I knew you were really smart anyway.Adopting cats...can't wait till I can do that again, my parents are looking after our one and only while we are in Oz, and I don't think they will give him back.
I think a "political" blog aggregator is a good idea, we all have our secrets!
