TOLD ya’ll I was a yarn snob!
You are a yarn snob. Super soft merino, silk cashmere are your thing, and why not? Knitting is your sublime escape from your hectic work days. Go ahead and enjoy the Zen like trance you enter as you feel the soft fibers flow through your hands, letting…

That is so cool that you can post a quiz right in your blog now! (PS - I am an omnivore.)

I’m a yarn omnivore too! I suspect most people who both hand knit and machine knit are omnivores.
I had to upload a plug in to post a quiz in Wordpress — calculations run on javascript. But, now I can do it. Yay!
I can also put the generators on the blog, which is nice. I used to have to explain how to do something, then tell people to click a link to find the calculator. This is much better!

You are not a yarn snob. You enjoy knitting, but prefer to make items people can use. You probably crank out projects quickly and give lots of fun presents to friends and relatives for Christmas. Heck, if you aren’t wearing a pair now, I bet you’re making Fun Fur Flip Flops for the 4th of July! Have a drink by the pool and relax.

Katie, are you going to make the flip flops?

Ha! My pocket book dictates what I crochet and learn to knit with! And that’s pretty much garage sale finds, second hand store finds, Red Heart Super Saver,Red Heart baby yarns, Caron Simply Soft, Peaches n’ cream, Sugar n’ cream…and to splurge- Lion Brand..MAYBE twice a year,if that!
Just like it’s NOT often I’ll buy a pattern book either- cheaper to get them off the internet! I prefer other people’s tried and true patterns than the trendy stuff…( But,I DO profess a weakness for those little digest sized pattern books that Leisure Arts produces- “The Little Big Books”)
And, no…I’m NOT going to make Fun Fur flip flops! Those have to be the most cheesy, atrocious looking things on the planet, AND a waste of GOOD, expensive yarn! *shudders*…

My sister agrees with you about the flip flops! (But she lets me wear them with my bathing suit at her pool.)
