I’ve searched high and low and I can’t find one! I tried to free style one and it came out very very crappy. I don’t care if it’s a little stuffed rat or a pattern that might go on a hat or a scarf. I just want to knit rats!
I’m not the only one! Others want knit rats too.
I guess I’ll just have to make Rogatien a brother, and write up the pattern!

How cool! Both my DD and I are Rats in the Chinese zodiac, so this is perfect!

Gosh! I had that rat for so many years. It’s moved to 3 different apartments and 3 houses with me, and it never occurred to me other people would want to knit rats. I thought it was just me.
I think I’m going to have to ask people if there are other vermin they’d like to knit!

I’ve been keeping my eye out for a knit rat pattern and pondering how to scale up some of the mouse ones for a while now. I just discovered yours, with short rows, even! As I’m rather well-endowed, I was going to have to learn to do them anyway, so now I can practice AND knit a rat. Thanks so much.
