Joanna dropped me a note saying she was having trouble with “the calculator for the round yoke sweater”. She didn’t specify the exact page so I assume that she meant “The Yokeulator.”
I checked…. and someone has noticed a bug in the program– from way back just before I stopped posting. Anyway…. I fixed the bug today. The bug was: If you used custome, the program over-wrote your head dimension. This meant users couldn’t make the neck tighter or looser for a given neck size.
I found the problem and fixed it. So, now those of you with big or small heads who want to knit yoke sweaters can calculate the shape. (Fitting in patterns is a challenge for more advanced knitters, and can’t be script-ti-fied easily. )
If you find bugs in other programs, let me know. I’ll try to fix them…. eventually.

I am a NEWBIE at knitting and was floating around the internet… your work is so beautiful – I can’t imagine doing anything more than a scarf or hat – maybe when the kids are older. Pretty site, I plan to visit again.

I was on Ravelry and someone had a link to your site which didn’t work. Do you have a calculator that would enable me to attach two pieces of work — one piece is 121 stitches long and the other is 112 stitches. I’m supposed to attach the two evenly and a calculator to do this would sure come in handy. Thank you!

Thank you for this. I started a sweater using the customizations and wondered why my neck was tighter than I wanted. LOL
Now I’ll frog and re-do!

You merged traditional and contemporary, and I congratulate you for that. Your work is very beautiful and it is important to resting your nerves.

Hey Gang!!!! Sir Knits-aolt here!!! The yokulator sweater is a wonderful pattern. Perhaps a bit of fuschia in there would have been a nice touch that I would have added to the sweater to really have it shine. I have a funny story to share. I actually had a person try to give me advice last week while I was pearling on a city bench. Turns out he never knitted before. He was a crocheter. Can you believe the nerve? A Crocheter!!! LOL.
