I'll bet the solid bodice with lace below could be adapted to a tank as well, for us dedicated bra wearers! That really turned out pretty! It would be fairly easy. Actually, I made a few more changes that aren't apparent-- I just wanted to see how they would work. Every 12 rows, I worked a pair of short rows from the side seam to the side seam. So, the front is actually longer than the back. I did that so it would go down a little in the back, but might be a nice thing for women with busts too! It would make my version officially "difficult" according to the knitting difficulty level authorities. But, short rows aren't actually hard, are they? I'm waiting to see Sonja whip one out on the machine! Yes, I do think you could add straps to the top to hide bra straps. It would be fairly easy.

The bolero would be ideal to go with strapless prom dresses or even wedding gowns. Felicitations. I'm sure the cups could be basted in as for a bathing suit. I think busty women who need support would probably prefer to use an honest to goodness strapless bra though. The tube top part of the top isn't tight enough to give proper support, and the cups might shift around. Mary Beth thinks the same thing about the bolero.
