Mighty Hercules,
this strong muscular hero
is a real softy.
On kids, anything looks great — even intarsia cartoon characters.
I found this Phildar pattern at the French ebay site. French grandmothers must have real knitting skills to knit these for kids.

Too funny! My face in the photo would have been more nose-scrunchy and mad about getting my photo taken.

Wow, at that age my kids would have not been too happy at me for making them those…..

@Lisa: I’m sure I would have hated that when I was that age too. These are the sorts of things grandparents think look cute on 10 year old. However, 10 year olds think the outfits make them look like 5 year olds and HATE them!

wow- for one: the fact that you can actually put cartoon characters or faces into knits is amazing… I am still just a beginner crocheter and weaver(on a Kromski Rigid Heddle Loom) makes me want to take up knitting and two: I think these sweaters are cool… I guess I am turning into a granny at 35!!! -Michelle

Yes, I agree.
Granny would loved it – kids never
Cheers!

Yeah, the kids would probably hate it as a clothing item, but maybe knit and frame it as a ‘poster.’ I’d have loved that at that age, something really unique.
