Today’s fashion tip:
The truly well dressed woman
wears matching items.

Don’t you think these crocheted items look sort of like urns used to store cremains?
The pattern appeared in McCalls Neelework and Crafts Annual Volume III, 1953, published in the “sois dissant” American Fashion Capital, NY City! I think we can all clearly see how McCalls developed their reputation for fashion forward items, which they maintained all the way through the 90’s(I think. When did they finally go out of business?).

Seriously, it looks like she gave that bag to someone. And they became so enraged by receiving something so fugly that they threw it at her head. And it hit her so hard that it attached itself to her head. hehe Or maybe it is the cold meds talking. maybe

That’s just ugly.
I had to stop here because my husband and I were talking about the odd things you can see in knitting books now. Cell phone covers and such that it’s just hard to picture anyone actually using.
