Pretty peony,
its buds open mother’s day,
bright sunny yellow.
Two years ago, Mom bought four baby tree peonies: one for herself and one for each or her three daughters. Every time she visited, she inspected mine and claimed mine is doing the best.
Well, I think Mom was right because mine also beat the others and bloomed first! I’ll clip this flower and bring it to mom when we all get together at my bib sister’s house today.
Happy Mother’s day to all mothers.

That sounds like my mom. She notices things that she gives to her three sons. When she sees things that we got her then she gets giddy. It means a lot to her to know she is valued.

I wish peonies grew here. They are so beautiful. Your mom started something really nice.

nice peony – looks like “High Noon”, which is a good yellow. Our won’t be out for several weeks yet.

Is there anything more promising than the beauty of an opening bud, then the glory of that bud in full bloom. Only a much greater power than we could create such as the flower in bloom.
Hope you had a great Mothers Day, I heard from my children 4000 miles away in Florida USA, where they reside.
