Yikes. You know what? You couldn’t convince me in a million years that some of the other food imported from China to the US for human consumption haven’t contained something nasty like this all along. Our health standards here are just so much more rigid. I would love to see less imports on my grocery shelves.

That is crazy. I didn’t know that. There are many different cultural traditions that would seem so weird, but normal to us. I am amazed as to how odd others are and at the same time how judgemental I am for what they do when they probably feel the same about me. Now I don’t justify killing animals by this post, but culturals are interesting.

I’m glad I give my cats dry food (and they’re not on the list). Look at what we put in our own foods though - ie aspartame - so it can be called “diet”.

Damn…Luckily, I never buy unfamiliar cat’s food. I only buy such as whiskas or friskies.
