Those poor cats, I hope they have not had to suffer by eating too much of that stuff. :( Wow, crazy stuff. Those poor cats, I hope they have not had to suffer by eating too much of that stuff. :(

You couldn't convince me in a million years that some of the other food imported from China to the US for human consumption haven't contained something nasty like this all along. Our health standards here are just so much more rigid. I would love to see less imports on my grocery shelves. Yikes. You know what? There are many different cultural traditions that would seem so weird, but normal to us. I am amazed as to how odd others are and at the same time how judgemental I am for what they do when they probably feel the same about me. Now I don't justify killing animals by this post, but culturals are interesting. That is crazy. I didn’t know that. Look at what we put in our own foods though - ie aspartame - so it can be called "diet". I’m glad I give my cats dry food (and they’re not on the list). Risks include: poison in gluten products, for human and pet consumption; lead in paint on children's toys and venetian blinds; lack of confidence in the reliability of electronic goods (e.g. medical devices made unreliable by ersatz or low quality components); exploding laptop batteries leading to home and industrial fires; 473 things we haven't found out about yet. Contact your congressman and senators: we cannot allow ideological "free traders" and wealthy, corrupt multinational business leaders to brush this issue under the rug again. OUR VERY EXISTENCE AS A PEOPLE AND A NATION DEPENDS UPON IT. It is the RESPONSIBILITY of the DHS (Department of Homeland Security), to immediately FREEZE all Chinese imports. I only buy such as whiskas or friskies. Damn…Luckily, I never buy unfamiliar cat’s food. I only buy such as whiskas or friskies.
