Bright eyes are sexy
But plain eyes are rather drab
So use Eye Makeup.
I don’t know about the rest of you knitters, but I am hopeless at putting on eye makeup. So, I’m always happy to find tips and guides — especially free ones. Today, I found a web site selling eye makeup and beauty products that has interesting tips to help you make apply makeup attractively. There are tips for natural looking eyes, dramatic eyes, gorgeous night time looks, and making your eyes look wider and brighter.
Today is my 48th birthday, and let me tell you, at my age, I find I need the tips for wider and brighter! (Hey, wde and bright beats narrow and squinty– which is how they look when I’m reading my knitting!)
But, I also like the tip for naturally looking eyeliner, which is:
For a natural-looking eyeliner and the illusion of lusher, fuller lashes, use a dark brown eye pencil and carefully press a series of dots between your lashes following your lash line.
I’ll need to try that!
When I glanced at the bottom of each page at the site, I noticed navigation to tips on how to apply makeup properly to lips, cheeks or other parts of your face. There are tips for lip stick, lip liner, blush and to select the correct shades for your complexion. And, are tips for how to deal with aging skin. Hmmm….. I’m 48. My skin looks 48. Maybe I better do something about that?
