Have any of you ever seen these Wallhogs? You can upload any photo and create a big vinyl print to mount on your wall. Imagine how thrilled your kid would be if you took a photo of them performing their favorite sport and used it to decorate their room?
Of course, these don’t need to be all about your kids. I’d really like something unique and knitting related to decorate my knitting room or office.1 I’d love some gorgeous display of stash yarns and knitted garments covering the entire wall.
The Wallhogs look pretty easy to create and install. Wallhogs’ detailed installation instructions say all you need to do is pretty much peel off a backing and mount it on the wall. Though, I have to admit, if it’s a large sheet, I’m going to have to get Jim to help me. (But it won’t be difficult to persuade him. When I showed him this site, he kicked me out of my chair and started to surf. He looked at all the pre-printed classic cars, but thendecided that he needs a Wallhog showing off his brother’s Ferrari! )
No, there’s only one problem with the Ferrari idea: Jim’s brother’s trade in collectible cars at the drop of a hat. So, what happens if Jim thinks their next car is even cooler than the Ferrari? Well, it turns out you can remove the Wallhogs without damaging the paint, and reuse them. Moms with kids can get seasonal decorations for Easter, Christmas, Groundhog’s day, Halloween or which ever holiday your family likes to celebrate most, but in Jim’s case, this means we can take another photo and ‘immortalize’ the next car.
And you know what? These are actually rather inexpensive; $24.99 buys you a two foot tall, four and a half foot wide Wallhog. So, I don’t have to worry about Jim bankrupting us when his brother’s get a new toy!
