Poor little beagle,
Her paws fried by the pavement.
Hand knit cotton cures.
In fairness to crochet, I need to show projects where the speed and thickness of crochet beats knitting flat out! These cute and functional paw protectors were designed and crocheted for Lola, the beagle, by Crafty Chica. Both Lola and Crafty Chica need to endure the horrible hot summers in Arizona. At least now Lola doesn’t need to burn her feet!
(Hhhmmm.. should I tell the knitters on knitflame I posted a beagle? They are actually requesting beagle posts. )

Aww, cutie pie! And at least a girl beagle can get away with it. My grandbeagle lives in the woods and he’d probably eat the booties first, lest any of his hunter-buddies spot him in them! He’s one of the “big” pale beagles and he goes nuts when the deer or the bear or any of the other wildlife is in his “yard.”

I wouldn’t say we’re requesting photos of beagles, exactly, but cute puppy, anyway.

Adorable! My dog would be pulling at them. Thanks for the comment on how my blog looks in IE. Dumb microsoft.

Bring on the beagles. I could look at beagle photos all day. Nigel (the sock knitting beasty), didn’t mind wearing a booty too much, but I think he’d pull them off in the end.

Adorable? I’m sorry; I’d call that TACKY!
By the way Lucia, have you seen this one?

Its in a book called “Classic Knits”. I thought it sorta looked like a Discovery show where the people get covered in bees.
