As many of you know, I’ve been fooling around with and periodically reporting on blog money making schemes.
I know most of you are uninterested in the details of the mega-money-making scheme, but based on what I have learned, I want to warn regular readers that there will be a format change: I’m planning to entirely split the haiku’s from the advertorials and make liberal use of (more) tags.
(Did you click the more tag? Now you know what it is! See how using the (more) tag meant most of this post didn’t show up at the main blog? )
Nothing dramatic happened to cause me to make this decision. I just think it will take me less time to meet the program requirements this way.
As a benefit to my readers, knitters who want to skip the blog-o-mercials will be able to do so more easily. Strangely, I think it’s a little unfair to the advertisers because many of my knit-a-holic readers will skip the ads. But, what can I do? The rules make it difficult for me to merge the knitting content my readers actually read and the blog-o-mercials!
Not impossible– just more work. A well… rules are rules!
A haiku to follow!
