Here’s the yoke for my v-neck cardigan.
I put the sleeve stitches on “stitch holders”, aka a double thick strand of Caron So Soft in soft blue. I also used the Caron So Soft to work the “cheaters provisional cast on”.
The body stitches are on the circular needle I used for the yoke. See how long it is? I have three long portions of coil joined. ( I love the fact that I can join sections of coil together with my Denise circular set. I’ll remove a section when I knit the body. )
After I put the sleeve stitches on the string, I tried the yoke on to make sure the armholes seem deep enough. They were. No frogging, whooo hooo!
I also modeled the yoke for my mother-in-law, who coohed, “Cap sleeves, how cute!”
Now onto the body. I’ll decide if I want cap sleeves in a couple of days.
