Just in case you ever wanted to sit side by side with heavy metal musicians, here’s a hand knit pair. They are from A Good Yarn. I don’t know if knitting blogger Renee has a pattern, but it seems she was planning to knit a Joan Jett to join this little band.

Been lurking on your site- love the way you twist a haiku- always immensely entertaining. The pattern for those dolls is in the SNB Nation book (one of the main reasons I took up knitting again in earnest.) I’ve made them and altered the pattern to make different rockstars (Using Joey Ramone legs and an altered Joan Jett torso to make Gene Simmons from Kiss). You can access my Flickr account here, I think I have some pics of Lil’Gene in my knitting set: http://flickr.com/photos/spazzmanda/

I saw something similar to the punk rock doll, but it was a little knit Captain Jack Sparrow. Oh, how I’d love one of those!
