While surfing I found this at My Sexy Tops:
Smaller figured women will look sexy and chic in a stretch knit halter top that covers the entire front and is attached at a strap that encircles the neck. This leaves the upper back bare, and gives flattering appeal to the chest line as the fabric gathers in pleats around the midriff. Smaller figures look best in halter tops with high necks or criss-cross designs. Low v-necks or scooping neck lines diminish bust size and accentuate a small or lacking cleavage. Spaghetti strap halter tops that criss-cross above the bust line and stretchy boatnecks will flatter small figures and make you feel pretty and sexy.
Hmm… encircles neck? Leaves upper back bare? High neck? I thought I just designed and knit my halter with spaghetti straps and a high boat neck because that’s the easiest shape to design and knit. Little did I know ruffles and v-necks would make me look even more flat chested!
