This is furniture?
That’s what the designer says.
It’s knit then felted.
From Knitted Textile Student Awards Showcase 2005 at “UK handknitting.com”, we learn that Chloe Henegan was “inspired by the structural qualities found in mushrooms” and “recreated these forms on a magnified scale”. Evidently this results in fabrics that “can be transformed into large sculptural cushions, floor seating ideas, throws or a contemporary answer for upholstery.”
Well, it looks like you can save money by knitting all your own furniture. But, if you prefer conventional furniture and want a good price, you could visit North Carolina furniture.

I really can’t believe anyone would use this as furniture. (They also don’t look like mushrooms!)
