Red roses blooming
on a dozen slender stalks
would be prettier!
These are from Lion Brand.
Jim gave me red roses for Valentines. This rose guide tells me that means love and romance! I bet the guide doesn’t have an entry telling me a purplish- blue rose knit from lion brand wool ease means! (And I hope Jim never gives me one!)

TDose are bizarre roses. Perhaps the knitter was color blind!

A knitted rose, in
Colors nature knows not. Say
“Thank you, Aunt Edna.”

Gosh, I slipped on the ice last week. My hip looks just like that. I didn’t have to knit a stitch.
Ugly!

I’m not sure why, but they remind me of the knitted boobies, but if they’d gotten purple-nurpled (if you don’t know what that is, you’re lucky!) way too much.
Still… they look kinda O’Keeffe-esque, and not in a good way.
