Zookoda dot com:
an email marketing tool.
Can it help you blog?
Ok… this blog entry isn’t about knitting! It’s about a new blog tool called Zookoda that lets bloggers create nice email list, and newsletters for their blog. Business oriented bloggers who own knitting stores or sell their designs through their knitting blog may be interested in this.
So, what is Zookoda? It’s a free email marketing tool that lets you sign up interested readers, and send them email announcements. These emails can supplement your RSS feeds, or be formatted like newsletters. So, for example, a small yarn store with a blog that describes their classes, sales or other promotions could send out nicely formatted, targeted newsletters that provides the same information by way of email. This could reach customers who don’t visit your blog. Nice, huh?
Of course, Zookoda suggests any and all bloggers would use this. Hobby bloggers who are hoping their knitting blog will propel them into the stratosphere could give it a try. (Or maybe you just want to email your blog posts to friends and relatives who don’t surf but do get email? It’s worth a try.)
