Intricate detail.
This requires intarsia;
I’ll knit something else!
This is available at ebay right now. The starting bid is only $24.99, which, if you like this sort of thing, is amazing! I’m going to watch to see how much this finally goes for.
Now, since I said I’d knit something else, I bet a bunch of you think I must dislike intarsia. Not true! Oh, sure, I think roughly half of intarsia designs belong in the dust bin. Often, the designer misplaces motifs and you end up with flowers right over your boobs which looks ridiculous.
But I sometimes love intarsia. I love kitschy ‘Mary Maxim’ type sweaters. I love abstract designs. I just don’t enjoy knitting intarsia with many colors hanging from the back of the work.
I’d kind a’ like to own this sweater — I just don’t want to knit it!

Now here I thought you were going to knock intarsia. I do love it so. I got my yarn dyed so i’m going to be knitting soon!
