It’s -5F in Chicago. Let me tell you, I am not exposing my shoulders inside or outside.
Of course, I also have to admit, I’m not wearing anything remotely elegant.
It’s Superbowl Sunday and the Bears are actually playing! Jim and I have the only super-mondo tv in the family, so we are hosting the Bears party. We moved the furniture around so everyone can have a good view of the tv. I’ll be sitting in the back corner where my knitting will be protected from spilled pizza, wine and all other hazards.

Btw, PLEASE tell me those are some sort of applique (sequins, whatever) on her sleeveless turtleneck, not her BRA showing through. And some bulky armwarmers to go with her stole?! Why not just wear a dang sweater?!?!

When even the National Weather Service is lecturing us to wear a hat and gloves, I won’t be going sleeveless.
So let’s see, sweater sleeves on her forearms, little stole/wrap thingie around her elbows, bare shoulders, and sleeveless turtleneck. Yah. Got it.
I think that’s a lace pattern & her bra showing.

Even if its not her bra showing, you know thats what people will think. I have never understood sleeveless sweaters — how to make parts too cold, parts too hot, and like I am bulky in the middle with little stick arms. Nope. Sorry about the Bears, everything is quite mellow in Indianapolis. I was really rooting for the S’Aints.
