I evenly spaced the decreases and knit this in the round because I hate to sew (funny, Mom taught me that before teaching me to knit). It seems like it would be faster to not have the seam, even though you have to keep track of where you are and purl every other row (which worked well with the decreases being every other row). Worked up cute, too!

Pattern Correction:

Line 7 -
Row 15: *Slip marker, k1, K2 tog, k2, k2tog, k1, k2 tog* repeat from *. (14 stitches remain; 7 on each side of marker.)

Six stitches are eliminated on row seven, so if you had 20 when you started, you should have 14 when you finish. That's 7 on either side.
But, if you only have six on either side, don't worry. Just knit the next row as it's worded. It will work out since you have 12 stitches. When you are done, you'll have six. Continue following the directions!

These aren't precision items, so your chick will be fine!

I tried to make your cute chicks but find that on row 7, there is an error. I get 8 stitches instead of 7 on each side of marker. Any suggestions?
