Guinea Pig Sweater (or Dress?)
Posted on 03.22.05 by lucia @ 6:18 pm

It’s not my pattern; it’s not my guinea pig and I didn’t knit this.

This is way too funny to pass up; how could I help showing people this thing? Click for the pattern from Nearly Hairless Pets.

  2. This makes me wish I had a guinea pig. I’m afraid the cats would eat it though.

  3. That’s a riot!!! I wonder i
if it can be modified for
    my daughters “colosal” 2
lb rat? EEEK! You say? He
    is friendlier than most
    cats I know of…I’ll
send you a pic if it works

  4. Their directions have you meausure, and calculate out the shape. So, it looks like your rat should be able to have a dress.

Do send a picture. It would be hilarious!

  5. I had a guinea pig that color. I wish she was still alive so that she could have a matching sweater to Macy.

  7. That is a cute guinea pig and I should know. I have 13 guinea pigs. Yea, and I’m at an all time low. I love each one of them. They’re all so different and at the same time all of them are so cuddly. They love to get dressed up and do photo shoots. They’r all “Divas”, even the boys. They demand their dandilions and insit on getting a run every day. In the nice weather they go
our in the backyard and graze in she shade sometimes for several hours a day. Yes, I guess you could say I’m a guinea pig. I like to think of it as a symbiotic relationship. I have pictures on my mac web site.

  12. I made a party dress for my dog that looked a lot like this. It was from “Dogs in Knits”. It had eyelet and a ruffle.
