I think some people could get away with wearing that sweater. At *least* the exact colors of the flower portion are picked up in the plaid.  Still,  it would be difficult to integrate into a wardrobe. (My guess is the few who knit it wore it with  black stirrup pants.  Likely, the person wearing it didn&#039;t have that &quot;je ne sais quois&quot; required to carry this off.</description>
