Designer A: “This yarn is awfully pink…”. Designer B: “Pallid.”
Designer A: “Pink makes me feel so blue. . .” Designer B: “Boring.”
Designer A: “What can we make this edgy?” Designer B pauses, . . . “Hey, I know! Let’s make the neck look like it’s trying to strangle her!”
This sweater and matching purse are from Austermann.
Note to readers: Cara emailed to let me know my spam blocker blocked her comment. The blocking seems to be caused by a plug-in called “bad behavior”, which is, generally a very nice plugin that, in addition to blocking spam, also reduces email harvesting and a whole bunch of other background misbehavior I don’t like.
It’s not supposed to block anything entered by humans! (However, after Cara emailed me, I was able to determine it blocked at least 4 comments. One by Cara, one by QueerJoe, and two by someone named Lisa who objected to my schadenfreude over Rumsfeld’s recent departure from our halls of government.)
If your comments have been blocked, please let me know! If possible, cut and paste the text on any error page you see. Then send it to me by email. I’ll send the information to the guy who wrote BadBehavior, and I’ll try to sort out what the problem is.
Update: There was a bug in BadBehavior 2.0.6 which blocked some real humans; a bug fix is available in 2.0.7. QueerJoe has now successfully posted. If Cara or Lisa do, I’ll figure I’m good to go!

Love those strategically placed tassels, too.

I kept meaning to tell you that I couldn’t post a comment to your site, but I kept forgetting.
Let’s see if this one goes through.

Minus a few things (strangling piece, tassels and eyelets on one of the sides) the design is actually pretty.

I think I can handle the sweater OK, but the purse looks like a toilet seat cover from Walmart.
