Twenty nine years ago, Donald Rumsfeld fired my father; today, Donald is out of a job.
I phoned Dad the moment I heard the news. He said, “Too bad this didn’t happen 6 years ago!” We shared our opinions about the man, which, I must report, involve an expression describing the hindquarters of a large hooved animal.
I generally avoid political controversy on my knitting blog, but I can’t help myself today, so I posted this. I will now return to my regularly scheduled knitting content. . .

Your father could put that in his C.V. and be proud. He must have more than a little integrity and decency.
