I’m glad you got a chance to comment on two stupid designs in this magazine.

If I had to guess, I would bet you were going to put the picture of design #7 in one of your entries. Not only is the design just boring and stupid, but they put the coat over a crinolin filled skirt…uh…no.

I may comment on the swetaer; it depends on whim. Usually I don’t comment on the more boring plain ones— especially as haiku. Haiku needs to latch onto a “feature”. The boring ones don’t really have a “feature”.

Strangely enough, I prefer to comment on old magazines since designers can be touchy when their stuff comes out. I think the skirt, particularly as shown, is idiotic.

Still, the photo layout is remarkable. The idea that a evening gown clad woman, living in a humogonourmous mansion grabbed a heavy sweater, put it over her evening gown, dashed into the garden to push a wheelbarow around is sort of absurd.

On # 10– the sweater ain’t bad, but why is it paired with that skirt? I am open the possibility the tiers of lace would be acceptable in an evening gown worn to a formal occasion. In which case, one would not pair it with a heavy sweater and a belt!!!

I’m surprised they didn’t make the rest of the sweater (other than the boob bow) in a peachy flesh tone to really make us all stare! Do these people think at all? Yuck!
