Ours has taken to "blessing" the front hallway - REPEATEDLY (and no, no change in diet, environment, health, etc.) I'm glad the washing worked. If remnants of his blessing resurface, I can recommend a good cat urine remover... What is it with cats during this season?! This one has me giggling. And looking forward to your sweater calculator. Oh, Lucia, I have been reading your haiku and using your teaching aids for over a year. This one has me giggling.

Our cat "blesses" the hedge in the garden every morning. As it's not technically ours (it belongs to the neighbour) I'm not too concerned. He's only "blessed" inside the house twice - once, when he wanted to go out at midnight, and we wouldn't let him - he defiantly stood in his litter tray and aimed at the wall - cleaning it up took the emulsion off!A few weeks back, when a neighbour rescued him from a fight, he came in and "blessed" my blocking board. He's pretty good otherwise, though he likes to tangle abandoned wool! Ha! Our cat “blesses” the hedge in the garden every morning.
