Orange Puss lead me to the knitting machine and demanded I start my hoodie. Two hours later, the main piece came off the machine.
It’s knit in sideways in one piece, but the sleeves need to be rehung and seamed. I haven’t done that yet; so you can see the dark blue waste yarn preventing the sleeves from unraveling at the edges. Those edges are also curling madly; sorry, but I’m not going to steam a garment to take an “in progress” photo.
Obviously, I also need to add the hood, and trim the hem and cuffs. I still need find a 20″ long yellow separating zipper. If I can’t find yellow, guess I’ll use white.
You saw how Jim’s beige sweater went from looking like a heap to looking like a real sweater. I promise this will miraculously transform into a real hoodie.
My brother-in-law David says it’s gonna be groovy 70’s wear.

The potentially hooded pull over looks like a Guate-
malan hand weave.
I am curious to see the hood.

You’re right Mom. The colors and color combinations do look a bit like some of the Guatemalan woven textiles you have in the house.
I think you usually selected the less gaudy ones for table runner though. This is bright!
