The Knitting Fiend

Robin of Will Knit For Food tagged me on the TV-Meme. Now, to answer and tag three other victims people! Here goes:

1. How much space is left on your Tivo or Comcast box?
Zero. I don’t have either. Jim stuck an antenna in the attic, and we get tv for free, free, free!

2. Have you ever bought a DVD of a TV series and if so which one?
No. I’m way, way too cheap. We bought “The Lord of The Rings”, which is a series but not tv.

3. What was the last TV show that you all watched before reading this message?
Judge Mathis. Yes. Really. I will watch “General Hospital” as I cast on for my hoodie.

What can I say? I knit at home during the day, don’t have cable or satellite tv. That means I can watch court shows, soap operas, Jerry Springer and shows which should all share the title: “Pretending to be different from Jerry Springer. “

4. List 5 shows you won’t miss.
Oh, boy! There are no shows I won’t miss. I watch tons of poor quality tv while I knit, exercise or sit next to hubby on the couch sipping wine, but I generally just watch “whatever”.

Shows I try to tune into include: “Bernie Mac”, “That ridiculous show about the people stuck on the island but the platinum blonde women have not gotten sunburns, no one seems to have lost any weight and the Indian guy is playing an Iraqi”, “Charmed”, “Girlfriends”, and all ABC soap operas. (Saturday exercise shows include the Bollywoood videos and “Caliente”. These are not good knitting shows though.)

• Ann of Sheepshots because everyone should see the knitted sheep at her site. Also, she may forgive me for tagging her.
• Susan of The Princess Speaks because I want to learn if she also shares my shameful secret. ( That is: I don’t have Tivo or Comcast.)
• Joe of QueerJoe’s Knitting blog because his blog says he’s on vacation in some beautiful warm place and he is taunting us with a picture of a sandy beach. So he deserves to be tagged. I’m confident when he returns from vacation to see he’s been tagged by mememe, he’ll post his answers!
