Hand knit sweaters by a company called “Berek” often poup up on ebay. The label for this one says it was knit in 1988.
They say the 80s are coming back. This will look great over some woman’s tight spandex leggings!

I especially like the rather well-placed typo: They do seem to “poup” (poop) up don’t they? Leave it in!
