The tennis sweater
repeated every decade.
Why don’t I knit one?
Of course the answer is easy: I don’t play tennis! Mind you, if I owned one, I’d probably wear it with jeans.
No, there is nothing wrong with this sweater; at worst you could call it unoriginal. (But then, I knit unoriginal stuff all the time. I like to wear unoriginal!)
So why did I dig up this issue of McCall’s Needlework and Craft (Jan/Feb 1983)? Because yesterday, I posted a haiku about hand knit tennis sweaters on my blog!
