Jim in Raglan

Here is my wonderful Jim modeling. I stood back and captured the hearth in the picture.

Why? Because Jim designed the whole room, and remodeled it with the help of his brothers. That fireplace used to be a rustic semi-circular Spanish brick thing with a splinter generating piece of wood above it. Jim and his brothers used an air chisel to remove the ugly brick, replaced it with marbled, and paneled and the whole room for good measure. They also designed and built custome cabinets, shelves, paneling, and installed really cool ceiling beams. Oh, and did I mention the built in enclosure for the television?

My impression is they spent about $500 in materials, $1,000,000,000 in new tools and 50 weekends spread over 2 years in sweat! Obviously, Jim earned a sweater; he may have earned two. Robert and David have too. I better make them some!

Oh, but you’re here for the sweater pattern, right? Sideways knit raglan sweater pattern.
