Knit Clown

Cover coffee can
with smiling circus clown face.
Fill with small toys.

It was 1991. I suspect Fun fur was not yet available. The clown’s hair was knit using the advanced “fur stitch” technique.

  4. I crocheted a lovely poodle-topped toilet paper cosy as a child (it never occured to me to ask why TP needs to be cosy). I still have my crocheted Santa-over-an-empty-toilet-roll “candy dish” Christmas ornament. Those were the days!
