Fuzzy Angora
Hand knit tunic and leggings
complete with knit feet!
Those of you who visited “You Knit What” likely already know that Knitty Kitty and Punk Rock Knitter have succumbed to bloggers ennui and are closing down their blog.
While I know I can never replace “You Knit What”, I thought I should at least bring this outfit, suggested by commenter Claire, to your attention! I would say more about the outfit, but I think it speaks loudly enough for itself.
By the way, anyone who finds strange knit things is welcome to bring them to my attention. A haiku may magically write itself and appear next to the photo.
To KK and PRK: We will miss you. To my readers: Enjoy!
This mohair pants were sold (yes, that’s past tense) for $125 on ebay. It appears the seller stocks additional items.

I still can’t get over these. I hope you had a look at the seller’s other items, specifically the mohair shorts and monster pants. >

I did look at them. They are truly, truly. . . what is the right word? Unbelievable?

I’ve seen those on the eBay and I think it’s actually a fetish thing. Like a fuzzy fetish of some kind. Seriously. In it’s very own bizarre kind of way, it kinda sorta makes some semblance of sense. In an internet weirdness kind of way.
I’m itchy just thinking about wearing that outfit. Perhaps that’s part of the appeal? huh

Is it just me or does that model remind you of Rosanne Barr?

I’m with Debbie - I think it has to be some kind of fetish. Doesn’t it?
I think the model is actually HWP (not thin, but normal-sized). It’s just the four strands held together-thick clothing that makes her look like Roseanne.

I looked at the seller’s other items: I have no words.

This e boutique is the tops for fug! and people buy for top $ (fug sells!)
Personally , I liked the willie warmer - in hot pink, I told my hubby to watch out or I’d knit him one, he said the itching would make it a good S&M accessory!
Oh and, the skirt dress thng is something else, you’d think that she’d find a slimmer model to make a better impression, mohair adds pounds !

comment 6 - check this model put in the skirt dress thing, she is a bit chubby, so am I, this is no sin, but if I wanted to sell my bulky mohair things (that I don’t have of course) I surely would find a thin friend to model them for me, this would give them a better selling chance (ah, only in theory of course!)

As if the pants weren’t enough! Thank you for picking up the fug. I was having serious YKW withdrawals.

wow - I came to youknitwhat after it was shut down sadly. thanks for posting this - I can believe that someone knit it but I can not believe that people buy it - I agree with the fetish comments. I know there are poeple who dress up as animals (like mascots only for sexual pleasure not sports cheers) - so maybe this kind of thing appeals to them.
